Each client must be interviewed before entering the Fern House program.

In order to enter the program, staff must feel that the potential client has a sincere desire
to stop using alcohol and/or drugs and do whatever it takes to change his life.

The administrative fee for entering the Fern House program is $50.00

If a potential client is not employed at the time of admission, he must be employable
and able to seek work.

Potential clients must agree to fully participate in the Fern House program by attending
all required meetings and abiding by all rules and regulations of the house.

 

Completion of six months residency
Fulfillment of all financial obligations to Fern House

Regular visiting hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 2 - 5 PM
Outside visitors are welcome to attend any Fern House open meeting throughout the week.

 

The program at Fern House is very simple. Except for the term "easy does it", no one will ever say that the program is easy. It is only simple. We are alcoholics and addicts helping other alcoholics and addicts to recover from this affliction. Our program relies heavily on the strength, mutual support and fellowship of recovering alcoholics and addicts to help the newcomer begin his journey to freedom. Our goal is to provide a warm, caring, yet structured and disciplined living environment in which clients can learn to live clean and sober one day at a time.
